Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Installation Scheduler to coordinate and manage garage door installation appointments for both residential homeowners and builders. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient schedules, communicating with customers and field technicians, and ensuring timely project completion. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience in construction or service scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule garage door installations and service appointments for homeowners and builder projects.
- Coordinate with installation crews to assign jobs based on availability, skill set, and location.
- Communicate with homeowners, contractors, and builders to confirm appointments and answer scheduling-related questions.
- Update and maintain daily and weekly job schedules using scheduling software or CRM systems.
- Handle changes, cancellations, and rescheduling requests promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with sales, warehouse, and service teams to ensure all materials and information are ready for scheduled installations.
- Monitor project timelines and escalate any potential delays or conflicts to management.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled work and completed installations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus).
- 2+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or administrative coordination (experience in construction or home services industry preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of garage door components and installation process is a plus.
- Familiarity with builder schedules and project timelines.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a plus.
